so nobody at any point in the inception pointed out that Ultimates basically stands out as the "Black" team book, like i get the interest and if it sells whatever, but its still feels like those ass backwards 80/90s "Ok but lets do a black version of it"

Clearly the three or more black rule that Dwayne McDuffie spoke about years ago about still exists to some people. A team has more than three white dudes in it? “No problem. That’s normal” A team has more than two black people in it? “It’s a black book!” Even with team members who have powers and abilities that fit the story, some people still can’t help but focus on skin color.
